CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The call for abstracts is now closed. 

Notices will be sent the week of July 18.

You are invited to submit an abstract for the CLAE Scientific Meeting to be held from September 23-25, 2022 in Kelowna, B.C. at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort. 

The CLAE Scientific Meeting poster session has traditionally been a program highlight. Participants are encouraged to submit their research covering a broad spectrum of topics including clinical, nursing, neuroimaging, neurophysiology, neuropsychology and basic science aspects of epilepsy. 

Trainee Oral Abstract Presentation
The top four abstracts submitted by a clinical or research trainee (clinical resident, graduate student or postdoctoral fellow) will be selected for oral presentation.

Abstract Instructions

• The maximum word count is 250 words, not including title, authors, affiliations and funding sources.
• Institutional information should be provided for all authors.
• Abstracts should be structured in five sections: Title, Rationale, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
• No figures, tables or other illustrations can be submitted.
• Funding sources must be acknowledged at the end of the abstract.
• Abbreviations and references should be used sparingly.
• Data already presented at other meetings are eligible for consideration.
• Study authors/investigators must submit for consideration their own poster. Submissions by a third party will not be accepted.
• One author/investigator must be present during the poster session (if their submission is accepted) and must have registered for the CLAE Scientific Meeting.
• Stand-ins during the poster session will not be accepted.
